Don't waste a minute of your valuable leisure time shopping, washing linens, or stocking the fridge. When you arrive, all you want to concern yourself with is when you're going to hit the tables, launch the boat, or just lay by the pool and soak up some sun. We can open up shop for you before you arrive so you're ready to relax when you walk through the door. We will do the shopping for you, set up the kitchen and make your home comfortable and livable in anticipation of your arrival. We can even arrange for ready-cooked meals as well as cake, flowers, or champagne if you wish to make this trip extra special for an important person.

We will prepare your residence as follows:

  1. Turn on main water supply valve & perform flush out of hot and cold water lines through all faucets and toilets.
  2. Reactivate ice maker in freezer.
  3. Energize water heater.
  4. Check that air conditioning/heating systems are functioning properly.
  5. Adjust A/C or heat to desired living temperatures.
  6. Open shutters, drapes, and blinds as requested.
  7. Close all closet and cabinet doors.
  8. We can restock your refrigerator and pantry with essential grocery items per your specifications.
  9. Check phones for dial tone.
  10. Check that clocks are displaying correct time and reset when necessary.
  11. We can also pick you up from the airport!

We ask for a minimum of 2 business days notice for this service.

If arrival or departure takes place within 2 business days of scheduled standard home inspection service, the home inspection and arrival/shutdown service will be performed on the same day.

Shutdown Services

When it's time to hit the road, you have suitcases to pack, a car to gas up, and a journey to focus on. Don't wake up any earlier than necessary and spend all morning shutting down your house. We know your residence as well as you do - let us shut things down for you so you can keep the whole weekend to yourself and when it's time to leave, keep your attention on the journey ahead.

Immediately following your departure, we will:

  1. Flush all toilets.
  2. Turn off main water supply valve, and open faucets to depressurize lines.
  3. Discard all perishable food items.
  4. Make sure trash has been Prestige Estate Managementoved.
  5. Set water heater to "vacation" setting or de-energize.
  6. Pour baking soda into garbage disposal.
  7. Turn off ice maker and discard ice.
  8. Reset A/C or heat to "away" settings.
  9. Close shutters, drapes, and blinds per your instructions.
  10. Open all closet and cabinet doors for air circulation.
  11. Check that all accessible and unnecessary appliances, TVs, VCRs, DVD players, home theater/sound systems, phones, microwave oven, lamps, computers, stereos, etc. are turned off.
  12. Check that all windows and doors are secured for extended absence.
  13. Check that security system is set.
  14. Drop you off at the airport and return your vehicle to your home.
